The Alliance of Specialty Medicine wrote to Rep. Kathy Castor (D-FL) to thank her for introducing HR 4774, the Training Tomorrow′s Doctors Today Act, and offer their support of the bill.
HR 4774 would increase the number of Graduate Medical Education (GME) residency slots by 15,000 over the next five years in order to tackle the severe physician manpower shortage.
